I used to check those lists daily to see how I was doing in the exp race. Now I'm at least in the top 50 so I can check that way, but the top 50 list seems to be broken and hasn't updated correctly since the redesign.

Hopefully you all can work something out, but if not, at least you tried. Thanks for all of the great updates - they will be missed.

I suppose there must always be a sad ending to something, in order to start this glorious new beginning of NG and sadly this is one of them.

Still, you're one of the users who I tend to keep a track of, to see how close you are coming to finally passing the remaining 19 victims on the Experience list. Good luck with that.

All you have to do is take a user name and type it in like this.

So, in theory, all you must do is type in the username before "newgrounds.com" (and after http://) and add a period after it. Then all you'll need to do is put the links with their corresponding users. That's how I got to your userpage without using a clickable link, so I suppose it should work.

Another thing you can do to make it a little easier on you since you're doing an exp list is to look at the top 50 everyday and copy and paste the exp they have.

I'm pretty lazy about these kind of things so that's what I learned to do. I hope that helps you out.

Well, having participated in a update before BBB created his list, I understand perfectly how much work goes into the damm update, and recreating the list would mean even more trouble than "merely" going that, so I guess we won't see a top users list again for some time... at least, until liljim or Ross decide to stop being lazy and finally create a list for us!

Still, cheers for the patience to make all those updates in the past, you are a true heroine to many NG users!

Even though, I followed the list closely, and I appreciate the work... It should be Fulp and his cronies resposibility. While their at it they should build a system that show the rankings of all the users... there is only a scant million of them.

All good things must end. But thank you for doing the updates for so long, ramagi. I know exactly what you meant about SK and BBB helping to make the list continue on and change in ways you never saw coming. So of course neither did the rest of us!

One thing, though, ramagi: couldn't liljim or another admin, once all the redesign madness and fixes are done... couldn't they give you a list of the top 1000 exp users by userid# AND by username? That way you could get everything up to date for one last great update or something.

Now, turning to some of the other comments I've read who seem to think it'd be simple for ramagi to update the list:

Keep in mind, it's not as simple as just going to all the new userpages to update an old list post-redesign. If you have a bunch of user ID#s (which are now apparently useless) and a bunch of old usernames (which may have been changed before the username lockdown in March 2007), then you've got NOTHING. You can't just magically find all the old people on a list. I'm going to have this problem when I try to do one last pentalist update now, unless an admin decides to be kind and let us access userpages via userID# as well.

userID#s, BTW, are still listed in one place: the FanNet. That's it, though.

Such a sad thing... just a few days before I entered the Top 1,000 the list can't be updated (for at least quite some time) :( .
And I really liked the Top 2,000 EXP Users list, I checked it at least once a day to see how my "rivals" are doing :/ .

I really hope that there will be another list sometimes!

I actually found out that NG was being updated on the specific day by visitng the top 2k users page first and realizing that it wouldn't load as a result of it. I figured that the list would have gone to hell (If HTML has some sort of religion) as a result and I don't expect it to return, but it was a useful tool while it lasted. I remembered it again today when I noticed I was ranked #201 and I was curious as to exactly who was infront of me/if they were still depositing.

Oh well, so much for that, I wouldn't worry too much about reviving it. If somebody is curious enough and really wants detailed info they'll eventually make a similar site or possibly even better tool. For example, if Denvish's "NG log" had a few more subscribers I bet it would cover your site's absence and more.

Figured that I would also offer my own condolences for the work that you have done for the list. I was pretty excited to see my progress. On top of that, I got to see a strange trend that had people depositing points or blaming/saving flashes ... but not both. Kinda like a character flaw that keeps things interesting I guess. I guess I'll keep on truckin with the point grind and perhaps I'll be up there in the ranks of the Commanders sometime.
